Our vision of saving more lives is global. For over 30 years, we have been providing quality safety solutions and earning the trust of our customers in Japan. Now, we have over 2,000 employees across multiple sites in Japan who continue to improve mobility safety. Autoliv entered into Japan in 1987 and started seatbelt production in 1988. In the 1990’s, Autoliv Japan began to grow rapidly and airbag production started in 1994. Due to a spectacular business expansion which has continued to the present day, Autoliv Japan has become a market leader in automotive safety products in Japan. Our presence in Japan allows us to support our consumers on a global basis. With the support of our customers, we hope to continue to provide life-saving products.
